What sign-in methods are supported?

Palate supports phone and email auth flows depending on app screen.

  1. Follow the login method shown in the app onboarding flow.
  2. If using phone verification, enter the code exactly as received.
  3. If a code expires, request a fresh one instead of retrying old codes.
  4. Contact support if you lose access to your original sign-in destination.

  2. Tap log/add visit and add your notes and ratings.
  3. Separate food, vibe, and service so your future self can trust the memory.
  4. Save the entry to update map footprint, place history, and relevant lists.

  1. Create a list from the app and add places with short context notes.
  2. Arrange places in an order that reflects your route or plan.
  3. Use share to send a list link that preserves location context.
  4. Update the list anytime and your shared link stays current.

Troubleshooting

How does Shake to Report work?

Quickly report bugs with optional diagnostics directly from the app.

  1. Shake your device while in the app to open reporting options.
  2. Choose bug report or feedback and describe what happened.
  3. Disable diagnostics in Settings > Support if you do not want them included.
  4. You can also submit manually from Settings > Support at any time.

Troubleshooting

What happens if I report while offline?

Reports can be queued and sent once connectivity returns.

  1. If you are offline, Palate stores the report locally on the device.
  2. The report is retried automatically when connection is restored.
  3. Pending reports remain editable until transmission succeeds.
  4. If the report still does not send, submit from the web support form.

What diagnostics can be included in support reports?

Diagnostics are redacted and designed to avoid sensitive content.

  1. Potential diagnostics include app version, device model, iOS version, and screen context.
  2. Sensitive fields like auth tokens, passwords, cookies, and precise GPS should be redacted.
  3. Web support form submissions include only information you explicitly enter.
  4. You may opt out of diagnostics before sending support reports.

  3. Our team verifies the request before processing.
